Along with improved performance and a new folder unread count feature, IBM Verse(R) On-Premises V1.0.3 continues to build on the foundation established earlier this year for on-premises users by delivering the following capabilities previously available only in cloud deployments:
  • Calendar delegation
  • Mail delegation
IBM Verse On-Premises V1.0.3 continues to transform enterprise email by combining collaborative communication with a focus on work and tasks that matter most. Intuitive user design is a key attribute of Verse, which delivers an innovative email experience to both cloud and on-premises users. Among several user interface enhancements and performance gains, capabilities in Verse On-Premises V1.0.3 include:
  • Calendar delegation. Previously available only in Verse on Cloud and the Notes(R) Client, this versatile capability is now included in Verse On-Premises. With calendar delegation, Verse enables you to delegate access to another person's calendar. The delegate may then create new calendar events, alter existing invitations, respond to event invitations, and manage your calendar on your behalf.
  • Mail delegation. Similar to the calendar delegation feature, the mail delegation feature enables you to delegate access to another person's mail file. The delegate may then write emails, respond to emails, and manage your mail file on your behalf.
Verse takes a different approach to enterprise email by integrating the ways employees connect each day into a single collaboration environment for mail, meetings, calendars, file sharing, or social.
